HMRC Refund Emails

HMRC does not use email to contact people advising of refunds.
- If you get one of these emails it is a SCAM
- Forward it to phishing@hmrc.gsi.gov.uk
- Then delete it
- AND FORGET about any such refund

- Advertising for an emergency service (Police or Fire)
- Rogue recruitment companies
- Unsolicited deliveries
- Tourist & Business Directories
- Unscrupulous Financial Brokers (usually unregulated)
- Shady energy only brokers
- Letters demanding payment sent by a Government Department
- Bogus rate appeal companies
- Tarmac gangs
- Illegal Training Companies
Remember however, there are also some totally bona fides organisations around
Make simple checks
Quality businesses will be happy to be checked out and to stand apart from the rogues and scammers
